SCHOOL OF DISOBEDIENCE - BUDAPEST AND PARIS 2021-2023
"School of Disobedience" is an experimental, anti-canonical and critical Performance Art School for women. The “School of Disobedience” is pop-up and nomadic. Dislocating our activities into new formal and informal venues, structures, festivals allows us to think local and act local. Share and care.
Through the regular practice of questioning, protesting, resisting and revolting, participants quickly liberate themselves from their fears, transgress their boundaries, go beyond their limits and push themselves out of their comfort zone. During 2021, I had the opportunity to join in workshops for School of Disobedience in two European Cities where I have been part of a women group that I have met for the first time. Together we have discussed issues about the world we are living in and created concepts which later on turned into performances both, outdoors and as well in Centre Pompidou. The relationship we have built between us was based on trust and community love and have explored topics such as Letting Go such as relationships, Healing Garden which included a session in a Permaculture Garden and a performance about sisterhood, Womens Fight Club and as well an audition which turned bonding us women together instead of creating stress and false competition.
After the workshops have been over a strong bond with the women has taken place and friendship have continued to evolve between us.
